Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur midfield target Tanguy Ndombele has been angling towards a move to Paris Saint-Germain, it has been claimed.

Ndombele was in demand last summer and Tottenham reportedly had a bid for his services rejected, while Manchester City were keen. But Lyon were in no mood to sell and Ndombele soon signed a new contract.

His subsequent call-up to the France squad and his continued performances in Ligue 1 have attracted more interest and Lyon could sell next summer.

Ndombele has also been on PSG’s radar and is said to be one of the top midfield names they want to chase in the future.

And according to French outlet Buzzsport.fr, the Parisians could have their noses in front in the race as the player himself is considering joining the French champions in the coming months.

Ndombele is likely to leave Lyon next summer and the Ligue 1 giants are claimed to be wanting offers close to the €100m mark.

The midfielder believes playing for PSG in Ligue 1 would allow him to be more involved in the France squad ahead of the European Championship in 2020.

The midfielder’s desire to stay in France is expected to work in PSG’s favour, and they are keen to sign him from Lyon, but a move in January is rated as unlikely.
