Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has highlighted Paul Pogba’s attitude as the key behind his recent run of good form for Manchester United.

The Frenchman fell out with Jose Mourinho and lost his place in the team towards the end of the Portuguese’s reign as Manchester United manager.

But Solskjaer drafted the midfielder straight into his starting eleven and he has looked a different player, scoring two goals and providing as many assists in the last two league games.

The caretaker Manchester United boss has little doubt about the quality of Pogba and what he can provide in the final third, but he is delighted with the attitude the Frenchman has shown.

And he insisted that it is natural that Manchester United are trying to build a team around Pogba’s talent as he remains a world-class performer.

“I think Paul’s a top player. He’s one of the best players in the world”, Solskjaer said in a press conference, via MUTV.

“Attacking-wise he’s done really well, but he’s a big lad, can win headers, tackles, he’s been the same as the others.

“The attitude has been perfect and that’s key, you should be tired towards the end of every single game.

“He’s been top class and we’re looking to build a team around him, of course, but there are so many quality players.”

Pogba is expected to start when Manchester United host Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday.
