Crystal Palace, Brighton and Huddersfield Town have joined a host of clubs keen on signing Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke, who has also been linked with Rangers, on loan.

Steven Gerrard's Rangers have been repeatedly linked with wanting the 21-year-old over the course of the season and the Rangers boss is keen to snap up another striker in the January transfer window to reduce his side's reliance on Alfredo Morelos.

But the Gers face a fight for Solanke's signature as clubs are now starting to queue up to take him from Liverpool on loan.

According to the BBC, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Huddersfield are keen to land Solanke, while there is also interest from Championship sides and clubs outside England.

Rangers have used their connections through Gerrard to do business with Liverpool this season and currently have Ryan Kent on loan from the Reds.

Liverpool also loaned Ovie Ejaria to the Gers in the summer, but he terminated his loan to return to Anfield earlier this month after becoming unsettled.

However, Liverpool did credit Rangers for developing Ejaria and expressed their happiness with the loan.

Solanke has not yet made a first team appearance for Liverpool this term.
