Barcelona are set to send an offer to Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool linked Adrien Rabiot in writing next week, when he will be free to agree on a pre-contract.

Rabiot is out of contract next summer at PSG and the Parisians have stopped considering him for inclusion in the team due to the contract standoff.

The French champions are hoping to push Rabiot out in January in order to earn a fee from his departure, but the Frenchman has been holding out for a move in the summer.

The midfielder has his eyes on joining Barcelona and the club have been keeping tabs on him, but they have made sure that they have not agreed on anything with the player.

Rabiot will be free to negotiate a pre-contract on 1st January and according to Catalan daily Sport, on that day Barcelona are going to make their offer in writing to the player.

The Catalan giants will offer a five-year deal to the midfielder worth €10m per season and offer another €10m due to his status as a free agent next summer.

Barcelona intend to sign him at the end of the season on a free transfer and their offer will be made keeping the scenario in mind.

PSG remain keen to sell him in January for a fee of €5m, amidst interest from Tottenham, Liverpool and Juventus, but appear powerless at present unless Rabiot has a change of heard.
