The representatives of Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj are looking at a potential move for their client in the January transfer window and a link-up with former boss Maurizio Sarri has been floated.

Chelsea have regularly been linked with Hysaj since Sarri took over at Stamford Bridge and the 24-year-old's situation in Italy is claimed to mean a move could happen.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, Hysaj's representatives are exploring a transfer for their client in the new year due to his fall from favour under Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti has grown to prefer other options and a change of scenery is not out of the question.

It is claimed that if Chelsea were to present an offer acceptable to Napoli, the deal could be done quickly for Hysaj to link up again with Sarri.

The Albania international has featured in just one of Napoli's last four Serie A games.

Hysaj has made a total of 153 appearances for Napoli since joining the club, the majority coming under current Chelsea boss Sarri.

Sarri coached Hysaj at Empoli and took him to Napoli when he was appointed to succeed Rafael Benitez in 2015.
