Lazio are on the verge of finalising a deal to sign Liverpool youngster Bobby Adekanye next summer.

Liverpool signed the youngster from Barcelona’s academy in 2015 and he has been a key part of their Under-18 and Under-23 squads in recent years.

But his contract expires at the end of the current season and he has refused to sign a new deal with the Reds to extend his stay on Merseyside.

Adekanye does not see his future at Liverpool and is expected to leave the club next summer.

And according to Italian radio station Radiosei, Lazio are on the verge of concluding a deal that would see the youngster move to the Stadio Olimpico at the start of next season.

The terms of a contract are mostly agreed and Lazio are slated to offer wages to the tune of €1m per season to the winger.

The Serie A giants are yet to fully push the move over the line and Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is set to hold talks with the player’s agent in the coming weeks to finalise the deal.
