Tottenham Hotspur star Vincent Janssen is on the shortlist of targets for a number of clubs in the Premier League, but he is not a priority target for any of them in January, according to Sky Sports.

Janssen has not played a single minute of football this season and has been firmly out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for his first-team squad.

The Dutchman has also been struggling with fitness this season and has just recovered from a foot injury, which kept him out for several months.

Tottenham are prepared to listen to offers for him, including loans, in the winter window in their desperate bid to offload him from their squad, even temporarily in January.

It has now emerged he is a target for a number of clubs at the wrong end of the Premier League table, who are looking for strikers in January.

But Janssen’s lack of football this season means the Dutchman is not a priority for any of the clubs who are keeping tabs on him at the moment.

The striker is facing a tense month ahead of him as he is unlikely to play any first team football this season if he remains a Tottenham player on 1st February.
