Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has instructed his agent to prioritise a move to Juventus despite interest from other bigwigs of Europe.

Ramsey is out of contract at Arsenal next summer and is likely to leave the club at the end of the season on a free transfer.

The Welshman is open to holding talks over a pre-contract with clubs outside England at the moment and his agents are expected to sit down with clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

However, Juventus believe that they have the edge in the race to sign the midfielder and have held extensive negotiations with the player and his representatives.

And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the midfielder has told his agent to prioritise his transfer to Juventus over other clubs.

The 28-year-old is said to be excited about playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for a club of Juventus’ stature.

Juventus have prepared a contract offer worth €6.5m plus performance-based add-ons and the two parties are yet to agree on the details of the deal.

The Italian champions are aiming to get the definitive nod from Ramsey soon, but are confident that the Welshman will end up in Turin next summer.
