Leeds United remain keen to sign goalkeeper Karl Darlow from Newcastle United, but any deal depends on the price.

The Whites have had their goalkeeping options hit by Jamal Blackman's leg fracture and subsequent termination of his loan from Chelsea.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been Leeds' number 1 through the season, but his performances have come under the microscope and the Whites are looking to bring in another goalkeeper this month.

They have been linked with Darlow and, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, remain keen on the Magpies shot-stopper.

But any deal for the goalkeeper will depend on price and Leeds do have other irons in the fire.

The Whites had to balance the books last summer by selling Ronaldo Vieira to Sampdoria and it is not clear how much they have to spend in this month's transfer window.

But head coach Marcelo Bielsa is in a strong position to demand reinforcements as he has Leeds sitting top of the Championship table and on course for promotion.

Darlow has also been linked with Nottingham Forest.
