Celtic's loan capture of Oliver Burke from West Brom does not contain any option for the Bhoys to make the move permanent.

The Scottish giants have signed Burke on loan from the Championship outfit until the end of the season as they bid to bolster their options ahead of the second half of the season.

West Brom have been looking for a club to send Burke on loan to as they bid to get him regular first team football to speed his development.

Celtic have now provided the solution for the Baggies but, according to Express & Star, there is no option for the Bhoys to sign Burke on a permanent basis.

Burke came through the youth ranks at Nottingham Forest before being sold to RB Leipzig for around £13m.

He was taken back to England in 2017 when West Brom thrashed out a £15m fee for his services with the Bundesliga side.

Burke joins a Celtic side locked in a title race with rivals Rangers, who are themselves expected to strengthen in the winter transfer window.
