Timothy Weah is to fly to Dubai tonight with his agent to seal a six-month loan switch to Celtic.

The Scottish champions have beaten off competition from Amiens to land Weah from French giants Paris Saint-Germain, with the attacker looking to play regular football.

Weah wants to kick on with his development under Brendan Rodgers, but there is not expected to be a purchase option included in the loan agreement.

Now the deal is close as, according to French radio station RMC, Weah is to fly to Dubai this evening with agent Badou Sambague.

Celtic are currently holding a training camp in Dubai as they prepare for the second half of the Scottish season.

The Bhoys have already snapped up winger Oliver Burke on loan from English Championship side Nottingham Forest.
