Rangers winter-recruit Steven Davis arrived in Tenerife ahead of his new team-mates today, while fellow new boy Jermain Defoe will follow later.
Steven Gerrard’s team will be buoyant after their Old Firm derby win over Celtic ahead of the winter break and will now focus on their warm weather training camp to become an even better unit in the second half of the season.
The Light Blues have set up camp for mid-season training in the Canary Island of Tenerife, and the squad landed late Monday afternoon.
However, Davis arrived before Rangers touched down, as he looks to kick off his loan spell at the club.

Davis, a former Rangers captain, made over 200 appearances during his four-year stint at Ibrox and won eight trophies including three league titles in Scotland.
Despite Davis being joined by the Rangers squad, the Gers are still awaiting the arrival of Defoe.
The Englishman completed an 18-month loan deal from Bournemouth when the Cherries decided to splurge the cash on Dominic Solanke and could become a handy addition for the second half of the season.
Rangers return to action in the Scottish Premiership when they travel to Rugby Park in order to lock horns with third-placed Kilmarnock on 23rd January.
