Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has urged his team-mates to dust themselves off after their 2-1 loss against QPR in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Whites rested a number of first-team regulars as they aimed to give players who have seen a busy run of games over the Christmas period a breather.

Leeds are at the top of the table in the Championship, but have hit a rough patch recently, having lost their last three games in all competitions.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have a two-point advantage at the top of the table and take on fellow promotion hopefuls Derby County on Friday.

Forshaw, who started against QPR, feels the team need to quickly recover and focus on their next game against the Rams.

“We’ve got to move on quickly”, Forshaw said on LUTV.

“Full focus now on recovering, start training and working hard for Derby County.

“[It is] a massive game and [we are] hoping to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.”

Leeds beat Derby 4-1 when the two sides met at Pride Park in August and the Whites will hope for a similar result this time as well.
