Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Tom Glover is to join Hibernian in Dubai to have a trial with the Scottish club, who are looking for a new shot-stopper, according to BBC Scotland.

Neil Lennon’s side could shift their focus to the south of the border as they aim to strengthen the goalkeeper department before they finish the winter break in the Scottish Premiership.

Hibs are currently without the services of Ofir Marciano and Ross Laidlaw and are desperately searching for good and realistic transfer targets in January.

Despite coming up through the ranks at Tottenham, Glover has yet to make an appearance for the first team and Spurs are keen for him to play regularly.

The 21-year-old could join Hibs on loan if he can impress in Dubai.

Glover, who has represented Australia across various age groups, is to join up with the Scottish club in the Middle East.

The Australian spent last season on loan at Central Coast Mariners in the A-League and made six appearances during his tenure.

Hibs will return to action in the Premiership when they face Motherwell at Fir Park on 23rd January.
