Bayern Munich have failed with a bid to take Callum Hudson-Odi to the club this month, but could sign him from Chelsea in the summer, according to Sky Deutschland.
The German giants have been working overtime in a bid to snap up Hudson-Odoi, who has just 18 months left on his contract at Chelsea and who has set his heart on a switch to the Allianz Arena.
Chelsea have refused three offers from Bayern Munich for the youngster so far as the Bavarians look to land him this month – and they have again said no to a fourth bid to take him to Germany now.
Bayern Munich's new bid is claimed to be €35m.
Chelsea are prepared to consent to a basic agreement, but only if Hudson-Odoi goes in the summer.
Chelsea had not given up hope of convincing Hudson-Odoi to stay and have been speaking to the player and his family.
But Hudson-Odoi has told Chelsea that he wants to leave the club and join Bayern Munich.
He has insisted he will not sign a new contract and wants to play in the Bundesliga.
