Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has agreed on the terms of a contract with Juventus for a move to Turin next summer, it has been claimed.

Ramsey is out of contract at the end of the season and negotiations over a new deal between himself and Arsenal were ended towards the start of the new campaign.

The Welshman’s contract situation attracted the attention of European bigwigs such as Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, but he is now expected to move to Italy next summer.

Juventus have been in talks with his representatives over the last few weeks and an agreement is in place between the player and the club over a contract.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Ramsey has agreed on a five-year contract with Juventus worth €7.5m per season and will join on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Italian champions have managed to convince the Welshman to snub other offers and move to Turin next summer.

Ramsey’s entourage are expected to meet Juventus soon to finalise the deal and the midfielder will sign a pre-contract with the club.

It is unclear whether the Welshman will undergo medical checks before the end of the season.
