Maurizio Sarri has insisted that Bayern Munich have shown disrespect towards Chelsea by openly talking about their interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Bayern Munich have matched Chelsea’s asking price for the young winger, but the Blues have made it clear that they don’t want to lose him in the January transfer window.

Chelsea want to wait until the summer to convince him to sign him a new contract, but the German champions have been brazen about their interest in snaring the 18-year-old away from Stamford Bridge.

And Sarri stressed that the Bavarians have behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful way towards Chelsea by being so open about their interest in Hudson-Odoi.

He said in a press conference, via Chelsea TV: “I think it is not professional.

“They are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea, so they didn’t respect our club I think.”

The Chelsea boss insisted that he is happy with the way the youngster has been developing and wants to keep him at the club for the long term.

“I am very happy with the player, he is improving a lot.

"He needs to move in some moments without the ball.

“I would like to have him in the future.”

Hudson-Odoi will enter the final year of his contract at Chelsea next summer.
