Leeds United do hold an interest in Swansea City winger Daniel James.

The Whites are in the market to make additions in this month's transfer window after losing Samu Saiz and Lewis Baker from the ranks, while loan star Izzy Brown suffered an injury setback recently and is still yet to feature for the club this season.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has insisted he will only bring in players better than those already at the club and the Argentine's eyes have been drawn to south Wales.

The Whites have been linked with Swansea winger James, and, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the interest in the 21-year-old is genuine.

Yorkshire born and having spent time in the youth system at Hull City, James is a Wales international and made his senior bow under Ryan Giggs last year.

It is unclear whether Leeds will be able to land the 21-year-old in this month's transfer window.

James has been handed regular playing time at the Liberty Stadum by Swansea boss Graham Potter this season.

The winger has another 18 months left to run on his Swansea contract.
