Ezgjan Alioski says Leeds United are putting in up to six hours work every day, making the Whites the hardest working team in the Championship.

An impressive 2-0 win over Derby County on Friday night has left Leeds in pole position to secure an automatic promotion spot to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Whites have become known for their relentless running under head coach Marcelo Bielsa, and Alioski, who is a favourite of the Argentine, believes that no side work as hard.

And he revealed that the Yorkshire giants put in up to six hours' work every day.

Alioski told Swiss daily Blick: "Nobody trains harder than us.

"No other team operate with more effort.

"We work five to six hours a day."

Leeds currently boast a four-point lead at the top of the Championship table with 27 league games played.

Bielsa's men are next in action away at Stoke City, before then taking a trip to Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United as they end January.
