Juventus have made enquiries about Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri.
Bologna are trying to sign Leonardo Spinazzola from Juventus this month and want the 25-year-old on loan with an option to buy.
Juventus know if they opt to loan Spinazzola out then they will need to bring in another left-back and their eyes have turned towards England.
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Serie A champions have made discreet enquiries about Emerson.
At present the former Roma man appears set to stay at Chelsea, but it is claimed if Juventus do move for his signature then the situation could quickly change.
Emerson has struggled to impact Maurizio Sarri's plans at Chelsea this season and is firmly behind Marcos Alonso in the pecking order.
The 24-year-old has clocked just 13 minutes of action in the Premier League in the current campaign.
Emerson has however featured heavily in the Europa League and has provided one assist in five appearances so far.
