Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is only interested in listening to transfer offers for Spurs flop Vincent Janssen for the moment.

Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that the Dutchman is not part of his plans going forward and the club have been trying to offload him since last summer.

Janssen has been training with the reserves since returning from an injury recently and is desperately waiting to leave the club in the January transfer window.

But Levy has taken a tough stance on the Dutchman’s future and, according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, he only wants to listen to offers to sell the striker in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham paid a €20m fee to sign the striker from AZ Alkmaar in 2016, but he has nothing less than an unmitigated disaster for the club since his arrival.

He had a poor loan spell at Fenerbahce in the latter half of last season and has not played a single minute of football this term.

But the Spurs chairman wants to recoup as much of the sum he paid for Janssen and wants to sell him in a straightforward deal.

However, for the moment the Dutchman has not attracted any bids and there are suggestions Levy could be forced to accept loan offers towards the end of the window.
