Arsenal have ramped up their interest in Chelsea linked winger Hirving Lozano, who has also been on Serie A giants Napoli’s radar.

Lozano was in demand last summer after a good World Cup with Mexico, but he stayed put at PSV Eindhoven despite interest from several clubs.

His future has come under the scanner in January, with suggestions that Chelsea are considering signing him, and there is also increased interest from Napoli.

The Serie A giants have been in talks with his agent Mino Raiola over signing the winger, but are not keen to match PSV’s €40m valuation of the player in the winter window.

Napoli are considering postponing the operation until the summer, but according to Tutto Mercato, they could face fresh competition from the Premier League for Lozano.

Arsenal have increased their scrutiny over the Mexico international and have conducted several surveys to assess the possibility of signing him.

The Gunners do not have the money to spend big on a player this month, but are likely to have more leeway to work with, in the summer.

Lozano’s name has been added to their shortlist of targets as Arsenal work towards identifying future targets.
