Swansea City winger Daniel James remains Leeds United’s primary target despite interest in Bristol City wide man Callum O'Dowda.

The Yorkshire giants are currently working on a deal to sign Kiko Casilla from Real Madrid and the Spanish goalkeeper is set to undergo a medical today with the Whites.

Marcelo Bielsa also wants to bring in a winger in the January transfer window and Leeds have been linked with an interest in Bristol City’s O'Dowda.

But it has been claimed that the Bristol City winger is not the player who is at the top of their shortlist of targets in the January transfer window.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Swansea’s James is still their top target and Bielsa wants to sign the 21-year-old winger by the end of the month.

The talk of a £20m deal is wide of the mark and Swansea reportedly value the player between £3m to £5m, despite wanting him to sign a new contract.

Leeds are yet to match Swansea’s valuation of the player and are concentrating on complete the deal to sign Casilla at the moment.

But James remains firmly on their radar and is their top wing target at the moment.
