West Ham United winger Sead Haksabanovic believes IFK Norrkoping play the finest football in Sweden, explaining why he has chosen to make the move to the club.

Haksabanovic has joined the Swedish side on loan until the end of the season after cutting short his season-long loan deal with Spanish side Malaga.

The winger managed to make just two appearances for Malaga in the second division of Spanish football in the first half of the season.

Haksabanovic joined West Ham in the summer of 2017 and after failing to break into the Hammers side in the Premier League, he was sent out on loan the following summer to get more playing time.

The 19-year old, who represented Sweden at youth level before deciding to play for Montenegro, has revealed that he chose Norrkoping because of the way they play their football, and coach Jens Gustafsson's presence.

“I chose IFK Norrkoping because I think Norrkoping play the finest football in Sweden”, Haksabanovic told the club’s official website.

“That's why I chose IFK, I want to play football.

“It feels good. I have known Jens since my time in Halmstad and I believe a lot in him and he believes in me.

"I look forward to this, it will be fun.

“I look forward to playing matches in front of the fans, winning matches and having fun with the team.”

Haksabanovic appeared just twice for the Hammers in the cup competitions and will hope to make his mark at Norrkoping in the coming months.
