New Leeds United signing Kiko Casilla has expressed his excitement at having received the opportunity to sign for a club of such high stature and insists that his aim there will be to take the team to the Premier League.

The Whites snapped him up on a free transfer from Spanish side Real Madrid after meeting the terms of the 18 months that player had on his contract with Los Blancos.




The Championship club have also handed the Spaniard a new contract running for the next four-and-a-half years.

Expressing his delight at having secured the move, the veteran goalkeeper said that he is delighted to have signed for such a reputed club with so huge a fan base.
 


Casilla also took time to insist that his aim at Elland Road will be to take the side to the Premier League.

"I am really happy, I want to start a new challenge in English football and I am really keen to start as soon as possible", Casilla told his new club's official channel.

Casilla was the third choice goalkeeper at Real Madrid and failed to make a single appearance for the Spaniards this season.
