Liverpool target Joao Felix has emerged as an alternative to Callum Hudson-Odoi for Bayern Munich, as they face frustration in their bid to land the Chelsea starlet.

The Bavarians were handed a huge blow in the chase for Hudson-Odoi after Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri confirmed Hudson-Odoi will not be sold this month and could even be kept in the summer.

And, according to German magazine Sport Bild, Bayern Munich have already identified an alternative to the highly-rated Hudson-Odoi in the form of Felix.

The 19-year-old Portuguese attacker has impressed for Benfica so far this term and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have been linked with wanting him.

Despite falling short in the race for Hudson-Odoi, it has been claimed that the Bundesliga champions are eyeing a potential swoop for Felix, who could move to the Allianz Arena.

Felix, who is equally adept playing as a winger and as an attacking midfielder, is believed to have turned the heads in Munich due to his potential.

The Portugal Under-21 international was promoted to the first team at the beginning of the ongoing season and has already made 19 appearances in all competitions for Benfica.

Felix, who is rated highly by Benfica, has a contract that runs until 2023 with the Primeira Liga giants and it remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich can lure him away from Lisbon.
