Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial believes that perhaps it is easier to play the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer way than Jose Mourinho's style.

The Frenchman has been in impressive form for the Red Devils this season and has recently signed a new contract with the club that will keep him at Old Trafford until at least 2024.

Being asked whether he has benefited from new manager Solskjaer, who arrived at the club in December, Martial said that it has been easier to play the style the Norwegian has used rather than that used by Mourinho during his tenure.

Manchester United have played attacking football under the caretaker manager and Martial insists that it is the kind that he prefers.

"This manager is asking me to attack more", Martial said at a press conference.

"We have got a coach who has different intentions and we are trying to do what we asks.

"Perhaps it is easier to play this style of football and not the style of football he [Mourinho] asked."

Martial has so far managed 27 appearances for the Red Devils this season, scoring eleven goals and has set up two more goals for his team-mates.
