Roma have adjusted their valuation of Arsenal linked midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo as the player continues to impress at the top level.

The teenage midfielder joined Roma from Inter last summer as part of the deal that saw Radja Nainggolan move to the San Siro and he has excelled at the Stadio Olimpico.

A flurry of consistent performances have established him as one of the first names on Roma’s team-sheet in Serie A and on Tuesday night he excelled in the Champions League.

He scored a brace in Roma’s 2-1 win over FC Porto in the first leg of their last 16 tie and the interest in Zaniolo is now expected to reach fever pitch.

And according to Italian daily Corriere della Sera, the Serie A giants have already slapped a steep price tag on him to scare off any potential suitors in the summer.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on him and have been linked with wanting him, but Juventus are also keen on securing Zaniolo.

Roma will open talks over a new deal with the player at the end of the season, but Juventus are reportedly preparing to act before an agreement can be reached over a fresh deal.

But the Italian champions and Arsenal will have to pay as much as €80m if they are to convince Roma to sell Zaniolo in the summer.
