Italian super-agent Mino Raiola is trying to add Juventus and Arsenal target Nicolo Zaniolo into his stable of clients ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has bust into the scene in Serie A this season for Roma and has quickly become one of the most sought after young players in world football.
His performances at Roma this season have piqued the interest of several top clubs in Italy and in Europe and he is believed to be on Juventus and Arsenal’s transfer radar.
Roma remain confident of agreeing on a new contract with Zaniolo and have already reached an agreement over the base pay in a new deal with his representatives.
However, Zaniolo continues to be wooed by top clubs and, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Raiola is also trying to add the young talent to his clientele.
The influential Italian agent is known for being a wily negotiator and has been eyeing Zaniolo, whose rise in Italian football has been meteoric this season.
However, he still has a stumbling block to cross as Zaniolo’s father still takes the key decisions over his son’s future and he is happy with the work of his current agent Claudio Vigorelli.
But Raiola is expected to continue to keep pressing and look to convince the youngster to become one of his top clients.
