Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as a target for AC Milan as the club consider replacing Gennaro Gattuso at the end of the season, while Jurgen Klopp is also on their list.

Gattuso’s future at AC Milan has come under the microscope following a run of just one point from their last three league games, which included a derby defeat to Inter.

The Rossoneri are still fourth in the league table, but are just a point ahead of fifth place Lazio and the former midfielder is again on the brink of being sacked.

AC Milan are already looking at options to replace the Italian at the helm and it has been claimed that the club are considering managers from the Premier League.

And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Pochettino has emerged as the favourite of the AC Milan hierarchy to replace Gattuso.

The Argentine has done wonders at Tottenham on a limited budget and Spurs are third in the league despite not spending a single penny on new players this season.

Liverpool manager Klopp is also on their radar, but the AC Milan hierarchy want Pochettino to lead the club.

However, Tottenham would not be expected to play ball and as such, Pochettino would likely have to push to leave.

Tottenham recently moved into their new stadium and Pochettino has shown no sign he is interested in moving on.

Klopp also appears a tough target for AC Milan to land.
