Roma would prefer to sell Everton and West Ham target Edin Dzeko to a Premier League club, rather than a side in Serie A, amid interest from Inter.

Dzeko will enter the final year of his contract in the summer and Roma are increasingly moving towards deciding to let him go in the next transfer window.

The 33-year-old striker has been keen to stay in Italy and he has been encouraged by the interest from Inter, who want him to replace Mauro Icardi in their squad ahead of next season.

But the former Manchester City man has also attracted interest from the Premier League, with Everton and West Ham keen to take him back to England in the summer.

And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Roma would prefer to sell him to an English side rather than watch him play for one of the top clubs in Italy.

West Ham have been courting him since January and could offer a fee of around €15m for Dzeko in the summer.

Everton are also interested, but they are yet to match the figures the Hammers are prepared to table for the veteran.

Dzeko has also been linked with a move to Turkey, with Fenerbahce believed to be keen on signing him.
