Leeds United loanee Pawel Cibicki has dubbed Elfsborg's 3-0 defeat away at IFK Gothenberg a "disastrous match", with his side well beaten.

Cibicki, who is on the books at Championship giants Leeds, is on loan at Swedish top flight outfit Elfsborg until the summer; the loan follows hot on the heels of a loan at Norwegian side Molde in the first half of the season.

The attacker said before the start of the Swedish season that he feels Elfsborg will comfortably finish in the Allsvenkan's top five this year.

But Elfsborg, who drew their season opener at home against Hammarby, were thumped 3-0 by Gothenberg.

Cibicki's side were 2-0 down by half time, then reduced to ten men, and matters could have been even worse if the hosts had not missed a penalty.

As a result he is keen to draw a line under the loss and look forward to the next matchday.

"Disastrous match today, thanks for the support!", Cibicki tweeted.

"New day on Sunday!"

Elfsborg are next in action next Sunday when they entertain GIF Sundsvall at home.

GIF Sundsvall have taken four points from their opening two Swedish top flight matches, beating Pontus Jansson's boyhood club Malmo 3-1 on Saturday.
