Manchester City are prepared to offer big money for Milan Skriniar this summer, but Inter consider him to be unsaleable.

The 24-year-old centre-back has been a key player for Inter since he joined the club two years ago from Sampdoria and has been fundamental to their plans.

The Slovak was linked with a move away last summer as well but Inter did well to keep him and have been working on offering him a new contract in the coming months.

Skriniar’s future is again expected to be under the microscope after the end of the season and there are suggestions Inter could receive huge offers for him soon.

And according to Italian daily Tuttosport, Manchester City are ready to table a bid of around €80m for Inter in order to snare Skriniar away from the Nerazzurri in the summer.

Pep Guardiola wants to further bolster his defence with one more big money signing and the Slovak has emerged as a target.

But they are set to face a tough negotiator in Inter as the club have more or less decided that they do not want to sell the centre-back in the coming months.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester City or another club manage to change Inter’s mind by submitting a big money bid.
