Rangers Under-20s star Stephen Kelly has signalled to bitter rivals Celtic that the title race in the Reserve League is far from over after his side's impressive comeback win over Hibernian on Monday.

Graeme Murty’s men came from two goals down to register a fighting 3-2 comeback win over Hibs at the Hummel Training Centre on Monday in the Reserve League.

The Gers Under-20s remained within touching distance of leaders Celtic after their win over Hibs and the teams are now separated by just three points with two games remaining in the season.

Rangers will lock horns with Celtic in their next game on Monday, before finishing off their season against Hamilton at home on 22nd April.

And after their impressive win over Hibs, Kelly has signalled to Celtic that the title race in the Reserve League is far from over with just two games remaining.

Kelly, who netted a sublime free-kick against Hibs, admitted the game against Celtic is another massive encounter for the Under-20s and stressed they can stake a claim for the title, if they win both of their remaining games.

“Today was one of our biggest tests and we have Celtic next week which is another massive game”, Kelly told Rangers TV.

“If we can come out on top with two games to go, you never know what might happen.”

Rangers Under-20s are currently fourth with 29 points from their 14 games and have a game in hand over Motherwell and Hibernian, who stand between themselves and Celtic in the league table.
