Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has urged the fans to show fierce support for their team ahead of Spurs facing Manchester City tonight in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie at home.

The new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host its first Champions League game tonight when Manchester City come to north London to take on Mauricio Pochettino’s side.




Tottenham have never made it past the last eight stage of the Champions League and Manchester City remain favourites to beat their fellow Premier League side over two legs.

Pochettino has been keen to make sure Tottenham make most of the home advantage in the first leg and Roberts also believes the fans must make it a night to remember for the club.
 


The Tottenham legend urged the supporters to create a rabid atmosphere for Manchester City tonight in north London.

Roberts took to Twitter and wrote: “Tonight is what football is about, enjoy the occasion and let’s make it a night to remember!
