Real Madrid have reached agreements in principle with Chelsea star Eden Hazard and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba over potential summer moves to the Bernabeu, it has been claimed.

Hazard and Pogba have been Real Madrid’s principal targets for the next transfer window and the club are working hard behind the scenes to clinch the two high profile signings.

The Chelsea star is out of contract at the end of next season and despite the possibility of the club not being able to sign any players in the summer, Hazard could leave.

Pogba has made it clear that he admires Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid, but Manchester United have categorically dismissed reports of a departure, insisting that he is not for sale.

But according to French magazine Le 10 Sport, both players have agreed in principle with Real Madrid over a possible move to the Spanish capital in the summer.

Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, has already been in talks with Real Madrid and has demanded €18m in commission, and five per cent of the player’s image rights.

He also wants the Frenchman to be one of the top three best-paid players in the Real Madrid squad.

Chelsea’s transfer ban has complicated negotiations for Hazard but Real Madrid remain hopeful of pulling off the deal.
