Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard believes he has developed in every aspect of his game during the course of the current season in Scotland.

The Scottish champions signed the striker on a permanent deal last summer from Paris Saint-Germain after he had a fruitful loan spell at Parkhead in the previous campaign.

The Frenchman has been in fine form for Celtic this season as well and has netted 19 goals in all competitions for the club, including a goal against Rangers last month in a 2-1 win for the Bhoys.

Edouard admits that he never doubted his abilities but believes he has made real progress this season at Celtic and has major strides in his development as a striker.

The striker feels he has improved every aspect of his game this year at Celtic and believes he is only going to get better as he plays more football.

The Frenchman was quoted as saying by French sports daily L’Equipe: “I always had confidence in my abilities. But here this season I have achieved a lot.

“In all aspects of my game – tactical, physical – I feel that I have evolved. I have more maturity.

“The more I play, the more I am developing and I know I can do more.”

Edouard will be hoping to get the nod to start when Celtic take on Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday.
