Bayern Munich are making intensive efforts to try and put a deal in place to sign Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton target Hakim Ziyech of Ajax ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ziyech, who played all but two minutes of Ajax’s Champions League quarter-final triumph against Juventus over two legs, has been in scintillating form so far this season.

The Moroccan has directly contributed to 39 goals this term after scoring 19 and setting up 20 for his team-mates, making him one of the standout performers across Europe this term.

As such, Ziyech has attracted the interest of several clubs, being linked in recent weeks with Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton.

However, according to German daily Suddeutsche Zeitung, Bayern Munich have now entered the race to try and snare the highly-rated attacker away from Amsterdam in the summer.

The Bavarians are making intensive efforts to try and put a deal in place to sign Ziyech, something which would put them in direct competition to his Premier League admirers.

Bayern Munich, who are expected to undergo a major overhaul in the summer, have zeroed in on Ziyech as they continue to work towards replacing the ageing duo of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

Ziyech, who joined Ajax from Twente in 2016, has a contract with the Eredivisie giants that runs until 2021.
