Roma have slapped a hefty price tag on Arsenal linked Nicolo Zaniolo to scare off his suitors ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has been enjoying a breakthrough season at Roma and is considered one of the top young talents of European football.

Signed from Inter last summer, the youngster has become a key part of the team at the Stadio Olimpico and Roma are scrambling to make sure they hold on to him.

Italian champions Juventus are keen to get their hands on Zaniolo and clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are believed to be interested in signing him

Roma are in no mood to sell him and according to Italian daily La Repubblica, the club have slapped a €100m price tag on the youngster ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Serie A giants believe at that figure no club will make a serious move to sign a player who has one good season under his belt.

Roma have also been in talks with Zaniolo’s representatives over a new deal and are prepared to treble his current salary.

The Giallorossi are confident of holding on to the player for next season at least.
