Everton and West Ham United may have their work cut out tempting Edin Dzeko back to England in the summer as the Roma striker is claimed to want to stay in Italy.

Dzeko, who will enter the final year of his contract with Roma in the summer, could be sold by the Giallorossi for the right price.

The striker has already been linked with several clubs, including Everton, West Ham and Inter; West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has refused to be drawn on wanting Dzeko.

And Inter appear to be in pole position as, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Dzeko wants to stay in Italy.

Inter have been showing interest in Dzeko as they bid to add to their striking options for next season.

But the Nerazzurri will have to reach an agreement with Roma if they want to sign the striker.

And despite their interest in the player, Inter have yet to initiate talks with Roma regarding the possibility of a deal in the summer.

It remains to be seen if Everton or West Ham firm up their interest to rival Inter and launch a charm offensive with Dzeko.

Dzeko has scored 13 goals and notched up eight assists in all competitions for the Giallorossi so far this season.
