Fiorentina are pushing to snap up Crystal Palace target David Okereke, who is on the books at Serie B side Spezia.

The 21-year-old has caught the eye with his performances in the second tier of Italian football and has been linked with several clubs.

Okereke is on the agenda of Danish club FC Copenhagen and French outfit Saint-Etienne, while Juventus have been linked with wanting to take him to Turin.

Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace have been scouting the Nigerian, but it is Fiorentina who are now making the running for the forward's signature.

According to Italian outlet TuttoB.com, Fiorentina are now pushing for Okereke's signature.

Okereke has scored nine goals in 26 Serie B games, along with laying on ten goals for his team-mates.

Spezia remain in the promotion mix in Serie B and will be hoping that Okereke can provide the final push to take the side over the line into the Italian top flight.

They have the Nigerian under contract until 2022, but could struggle to keep hold of him in the summer.
