Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has warned his team-mates that Brighton & Hove Albion will be fighting for everything, ahead of the meeting between the sides on Tuesday.

Spurs will be eyeing returning to winning ways in the Premier League on Tuesday night, when they host Brighton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The north Londoners suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday and will be locking horns with the Seagulls, who have lost their last five games in the Premier League.

As such, Chris Hughton’s men sit just three points above the relegation zone and have everything to play for between now and the end of the season.

And ahead of Spurs’ meeting with Brighton, Davies has warned his team-mates the visitors will be fighting for everything in a bid to try and get something out of the game.

The Welshman insisted Spurs must be ready to battle it out in a difficult game and admitted they must try to maintain their good run of form at the new stadium until the end of the season.

“It will be tough, they are fighting for everything and they will go the full 90 minutes to try to get something out of the game”, Davies told the club’s official website.

“We have to be ready.

"We’ve played well at the new stadium so far and we need to keep that momentum going for the rest of the season.”

Spurs continue to occupy third-place in the Premier League after both Arsenal and Manchester United suffered defeats on Sunday.
