Bayern Munich have made an offer to Fiorentina in a bid to lure Liverpool linked attacker Federico Chiesa away from Italy in the summer.

Chiesa, who is a product of the academy at Fiorentina, has popped up on the radar of several clubs, including Liverpool, due to his sparkling form this term.

The Reds have been linked with keeping a close eye on his situation at the Stadio Artemio Franchi ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Bayern Munich have made an initial offer to Fiorentina in a bid to acquire Chiesa in the summer.

The Bundesliga giants are claimed to have offered a €70m fee for Chiesa in their efforts to tempt La Viola to cash in on their prized possession.

Fiorentina have been reported to value Chiesa at €100m and how they will respond to Bayern Munich's bid remains to be seen.

In addition to Liverpool, Juventus and Inter have also been linked with interest in Chiesa, who could opt to remain in Italy instead of making a big move abroad.

Chiesa, who has netted 12 goals and registered eight assists in all competitions this term, is under contract at Fiorentina until the summer of 2022.
