Aston Villa manager Dean Smith has revealed that Manchester United loanee Axel Tuanzebe will be available for his side's Championship meeting with Leeds United, though Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham will be missing.

Both the Villans and the Whites are in the race to secure promotion at the end of the season and will take on each other in a match on Sunday.

Smith, whose side have pushed themselves up in the top six by winning ten games in a row, will be looking to extend that run and will be boosted by the return of the 21-year-old.

The defender rolled his ankle in the match against Bolton Wanderers on Good Friday and subsequently missed the Millwall fixture on Easter Monday.

However, he will be fit and ready to be picked for the Leeds game, Smith has confirmed.

“I couldn’t risk him [against Millwall] but he’ll be available for Leeds”, Smith was quoted as saying by Birmingham Live.

There is no such good news about Abraham though, who is nursing a shoulder injury and was replaced in the match against Millwall on Monday.

"He’s had a scan on his shoulder and it’s nothing major.

“The Leeds game will come too early but we’re hoping he will be back for Norwich.”

Aston Villa's last game in the league will be against league leaders Norwich City on 5th May.
