Arsenal loanee David Ospina says he is happy with life at Napoli and is focused on helping the Serie A side for the remainder of this season.

Ospina joined Napoli from Arsenal last summer on a season-long loan deal and the Serie A giants have an option to make the move permanent.

While not playing week-in-week-out, the goalkeeper has exchanged duties with Orestis Karnezis and has insisted that he has enjoyed playing for Azzurri this season.

Napoli are yet to take up the option on signing him, but Ospina indicated that he would be content to continue his adventure at the Italian club.

Asked about his future, the goalkeeper told the club’s official website: “I am having a great time at Napoli.

“Here there is an important project and a quality squad.

“Now we want to end the season well and then concentrate on next season.”

Ospina still has a contract until the end of next season with Arsenal, but may well not return to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners now have Bernd Leno as their number 1 between the sticks in north London.
