Juventus are prepared to offer a player plus cash deal to Benfica for the signature of Joao Felix, who has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester City.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is the talk of Europe at the moment and has been attracting the prying eyes of big clubs in only his first season at Benfica.

Super agent Jorge Mendes has held several rounds of talks with clubs across Europe ahead of the summer, despite Benfica insisting that they do not want to lose the youngster at the moment.

Liverpool have been linked with wanting Felix, while Manchester City were recently claimed to be prepared to meet the youngster's €120m buy-out clause.

Juventus have also been holding talks with Mendes, and according to Turin-based Italian daily Tuttosport, they are not prepared to back away from the race this summer.

The Italian champions want to avoid paying the release clause and are considering offering a cash plus player deal to Benfica.
