Arsenal are keeping in touch with Paris Saint-Germain over the possibility of signing Christopher Nkunku this summer.

The midfielder was on Arsenal’s radar in January, but the club were only interested in signing him on loan, something PSG were not willing to agree to.

Nkunku will enter the final year of his contract with the Parisians in the summer and has so far rejected a chance to sign a new deal with PSG, signalling his intent to leave.

Arsenal have continued to keep tabs on the young midfielder with a view to snapping him up during the summer transfer window.

And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the north London side have kept in contact with PSG to discuss the potential signing of Nkunku.

With Aaron Ramsey set to leave on a free transfer, Arsenal are keen to bring in a replacement midfielder and the PSG midfielder is one of the names on their shortlist.

Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet is also on their radar as a potential Ramsey replacement.

But for the moment the club have made their first move for the PSG midfielder, who has been on their radar since January.
