Napoli have made progress in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier ahead of the summer transfer window, with an agent spotted at the club's base earlier today.

Trippier, who has been a star performer for club and country in recent years, has attracted the interest of Napoli, who have been showing interest in signing him.




Despite the difficulties surrounding the deal due to Trippier’s wage and other financial aspects, Napoli have continued to explore the possibility of luring him to Naples in the summer.

And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Carlo Ancelotti and company have made progress in their ambitious pursuit of the Spurs defender.
 


It has been claimed that Napoli have now found a window of opportunity to initiate talks over a deal for Trippier with Tottenham ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

An agent has been spotted at the Italian club’s headquarters this morning and it could signal that Napoli are making progress.
