Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid and Besiktas are keeping tabs on Leicester City target Andrea Petagna ahead of the summer transfer window.

Currently, on loan at SPAL from Atalanta, the striker has scored 14 goals in 32 Serie A appearances this season and has piqued the interest of several clubs in the process.

Leicester are exploring the possibility of taking the 23-year-old to the Premier League in the summer and are considering tabling an offer in the region of €20m.

But competition for Petagna’s signature has only increased as it has been claimed that several other clubs are also keeping a close eye on the striker.

According to Italian outlet La Nuova Ferrara, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid and Besiktas have all been keeping tabs on him with a view to a possible transfer.

Scouts have been regularly watching Petagna as more clubs join in the chase for the hitman.

But the situation around the striker is complicated as SPAL have an obligation to buy Petagna for €10m if they avoid relegation, which at the moment is likely.
