Tottenham Hotspur have slapped a more than a €100m price tag on Real Madrid target Christian Eriksen despite his current contract situation.

The Dane will enter the final year of his contract this summer and despite repeated attempts from Tottenham, he is yet to sign a new deal with the north London club.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to keep the influential attacking midfielder at the club, but the 27-year-old seems to still be considering his options.

He has emerged as a key target for Real Madrid and Eriksen has reportedly agreed terms on a contract with the Spanish giants ahead of a possible move at the end of the season.

Tottenham do not want to sell and according to Spanish sports daily AS, it would take more than €100m to convince Daniel Levy to part ways with the midfielder.

The Spurs chairman remain hopeful of convincing the Dane to sign a new deal and is prepared to fight tooth and nail to make sure the club get the best price if he is forced to sell.

Tottenham have slapped the high asking price to test how far Real Madrid are prepared to go in order to get their hands on Eriksen.
